Who are we?
The Manning Town Team are part of the Town Team Movement network, adhering to the Town Team Charter values of being positive, action-focussed, apolitical, inclusive, respectful and sustainable.
We were established in 2023 as an inclusive community group that could take over the running of the Manning Laneway Festival, established in 2022 by the Manning Knight Riders cycling club.
Our purpose, beyond the festival, is to help build on the recognised “small town vibe in the big city” that exists in Manning and surrounding areas like Salter Point, Como and Waterford. We want to create initiatives that support this purpose.
We’d love you to join us – Manning Town Team does not have any formal membership – we encourage people to take part in whatever capacity interests them – take on a task for the festival, bring your ideas to a meeting of ours, help out with a project, whatever it is that you would like to contribute to make Manning a better place.
